A small mushroom-style jig head with a short soft plastic stands up on the bottom and catches fish when nothing else will. How to Fish a Ned Rig

Thread on a 2.5" to 3" Ned-style soft plastic, cast it out and let it sink to the bottom. Drag or hop it slowly back with long pauses. Most bites come while the bait is sitting still. Use 1/16oz to 1/8oz in shallow water and 3/16oz to 1/4oz in deep water or wind. Shop more bass jigs and tungsten weights.
